Parents of summer-born children (born between 1 April and 31 August) may request that their child starts Reception a year later than usual. St Peter’s CofE Primary School will consider such requests on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the school, taking into account the child’s needs and development. Parents wishing to request delayed entry should contact the school well in advance of the normal admission process to discuss the options and complete any necessary forms.
In-Year (Mid Year) Applications
We also welcome mid-year applications for all primary aged children, subject to space.

This ensures that all children, including those in challenging circumstances, have access to education and are not disadvantaged. In such cases, the school may admit children above the Published Admission Number (PAN) if necessary, in line with the Fair Access Protocol
