Admissions
For families who are considering St Andrew’s as a possible preference for their child’s education, would love to invite you to come and visit our school. This will give you a glimpse into our school environment and facilities. We will be able to answer any questions or if there is anything else you need to know, please feel free to ask. Our friendly office team are also more than happy to answer any queries you may have (01403 891286).
Admission to St Andrew’s Primary School is done through the West Sussex Education Authority. The application process for children starting school usually takes place in the Autumn and Spring terms before a child's fifth birthday. We also accept mid-year applications for all primary age children subject to spaces available.
The Admissions policy of St Andrew’s School, which our school follows, is common to all community and voluntary controlled primary schools in West Sussex. Detailed information about the admission process and how to apply can be found on the West Sussex County Council website (https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/education-children-and-families/schools-and-colleges/school-places/apply/starting-school-places/) . For any queries related to admissions, including those for children with disabilities, please contact the West Sussex Admissions Team via telephone: 0330 222 4059 or email: admissions@westsussex.gov.uk.
As our school is located in a rural area, you do not need to reside in the school catchment to apply.
